How to pass Sisense web logon/group to database (NOT same as connector acct)

My company has an urgent need to pass the Sisense username and group past the connector and into the underlying database.  Bear in mind the connector uses one acct/password for everyone using it.  So from the database's perspective there appears to be no way to implement a view on the data to restrict who sees what.  This is because the database sees everyone as the connector's username.  If I could just pass the group name, that might be enough to use for a more secure view.  But I'd like to know how to do both.  We love your product but this problem is a show stopper for us.
