Google change affecting Google Sheets connector

Recently, Google announced that Google Sheets API version v3 and Google Drive API version v2 are being documented for legacy purposes only, and will be deprecated on September 30, 2020

These API versions are used within our Google Sheets connector by Sisense customers using versions earlier than Windows 8.2.0/Linux L8.0.4.

Google Sheets API version v4 and Google Drive API version v3 are the most up-to-date versions, and are supported by Sisense Windows 8.2.0/Linux 8.0.4 versions and later. In addition, the update of the APIs enables users to access files in the shared drive in addition to their personal drives.

What do you need to do?

1. If you are using a Sisense version earlier than Windows 8.2.0/Linux L8.0.4, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of Sisense before September 30, 2020.
2. Users will then need to explicitly re-authenticate after upgrading their Sisense version in order to use the connector.
